"Gingermop" is one of my nicknames (it's Scottish slang for redhead). Redheads tend to stand out in a crowd, and my goal is to create work that stands out, too. Whether it's website copy, a blog post, an annual report, or a digital ad, it's all about finding the story behind the brand, and telling that story in a fresh and compelling way. I love storytelling – maybe it's a Celtic thing.
As an editorial producer for this travel insurance brand, I commissioned, edited, and wrote content for the Explore, Travel Wiser, Travel Safety, and Responsible Travel sections of the site. I also produced destination guides, itineraries, and social media posts, and wrote videos, digital ads, emails, and other marketing materials.

Though I spent most of my time producing travel inspiration and travel guidance content for World Nomads, I also worked with the marketing team on digital ads promoting our insurance products, FAQ videos about our coverage, and campaign videos that strengthened our brand.
Even the best-laid travel plans can go awry. This ad showed how World Nomads travel coverage can help when things don’t go quite the way you imagined.
In 2024, World Nomads celebrated its 20th anniversary. This video highlights how much the company has grown and all the milestones that have been reached over the years.
World Nomads travel insurance was created by travelers, for travelers. This video, part of a full-scale branding campaign, reminded viewers of all the reasons we travel in the first place – and how our insurance coverage can help you explore the world with confidence.

This video was created to accompany a written article on how to stay healthy and comfortable on a long-haul flight. We designed it to look like a flight safety card, just for fun.

Founded by World Nomads in 2005, the Footprints Network allows customers to give a small donation to one of several charitable causes when they buy a travel insurance policy. I helped manage the program and created website and social media content to support the projects. I also produced a variety of media to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Footprints.
